CIDP Buddy
A free app for people with CIDP to organise infusions, medication, supplies and a symptom diary.
CIDP Buddy is a medication and symptom management app for people with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP). It helps you manage complex infusion schedules, keep track of medication and supply stock, and monitor your health with a diary for vitals and symptoms.

Why I built it
I live with CIDP myself. Keeping treatment dates, supplies and everyday observations in one place is the practical problem behind this app. More about me.
How the app handles data is described in the privacy policy (German). Source code and build instructions are on GitHub. The Flutter project targets Android and iOS.
Features
Medication and infusions
- Supports infusions (IVIG/SCIG) and medication taken as pills.
- Batch tracking: record the batch number and body weight for every infusion, for accurate documentation.
- Complete intake history of all past treatments.
Stock and supplies
- Stock tracking: stock goes down automatically when you log a dose.
- Accessories such as needles and syringes, managed as supplies and linked to specific medications.
- Low-stock warnings with visual indicators, based on how many days the remaining stock will last.
Scheduling
- Flexible plans: daily, weekly, interval-based or on specific weekdays.
- Appointments are generated automatically from the rhythm you define.
- Local notifications remind you of upcoming intakes.
Vitals and symptom diary
- Track blood pressure, heart rate, temperature and body weight.
- CIDP-specific measures for strength, sensory function, fatigue, pain and balance.
- History view for trends and notes you can share with your healthcare providers.
Order wizard
- Calculates what to order based on current stock and upcoming requirements.
- Delivery tracking: manage pending orders and confirm deliveries to update stock automatically.
